The amount of water on our planet has remained more or less consistent since the Earth was created some 4.6 billion years ago. Only very small amounts of water have been added by meteorites that have collided with Earth.
Water is constantly changing states and expresses itself through different forms depending on the ambient temperature around it.
The life cycle of water is like a wheel where it constantly transforms between three stages: solid, liquid and gas.
It is these three phases I am trying to express through this book.
For me, and I am sure for many other landscape photographers, water is a fantastic ingredient in our work. Theoretically it is transparent and should not make much noise. However it is the other way around. This magical substance has infinite ways of showing itself. As solid ice, blue and frozen in time.
