If you’re an Ansel Adams fan based in London or planning to visit there before the end of April 2013, you should visit the National Maritime Museum in Greenwich, which is showing Ansel Adams: Photography from the Mountain to the Sea.  There doesn’t seem to have been a book published to go with the exhibition but coincidentally there is a worthwhile new title, Looking at Ansel Adams, which explores his life as an artist by looking closely at the stories behind 20 of his most significant images.

Don’t forget to let us know if you have any favourite photobooks of the year you’d like to nominate.
