We've just had word from writer Ken Worpole that The New English Landscape, his excellent collaboration with photographer James Orton, is about to be reprinted.

And I'm looking forward to Andy Sewell's follow up to The Heath (his fine book on Hampstead Heath).  Something Like a Nest explores contemporary landscapes and how they relate to "pastoral ideas and conventions".  The Heath went out of print very quickly so don't hesitate if you're interested in Andy Sewell's work.  We will have signed copies.

Both these items would be an essential part of the library of anyone interested in contemporary English landscapes.
